Where can I park?

We have free on-site parking at Birthcare Huntly, simply come in the main entrance and find a park.

Come to the main entrance and we will provide support until your midwife arrives, and for delivery if required.

  • Hairdryer (if in a twin share room)
  • Clothes for going home.

  • Cardigan
  • Clothes for going home
  • Baby car seat
  • Bassinet blanket
  • Wrap.

Birthcare provides medical and general baby supplies (pain relief, sanitary pads, disposable nappies, wipes) all of which are included as part of our service.

If you are planning on using cloth nappies, bring two with you for a folding demonstration.

Please ensure you have some woolen items, especially if you are transferring from hospital and for when you are discharged home.

Please note: Babies must always travel in a car seat. Please familiarise yourself with how to safely use your car seat as per manufacturers instruction before baby is born

Visiting hours are:

Huntly
8.00am to 8.00pm for partners, children and grandparents.
2.00pm to 8.00pm for all other visitors.

We encourage fathers, partners and family to visit and enjoy this special time.
Please keep an eye on your children and do not allow them to wander off on their own.

You can stay at Birthcare for free for up to 3 nights.

You may have as many people as you would like within reason.

Birthcare recommends that you stay postnatally for 48 hours after birth.

No booking is required.

Yes you definitely can.

We have visiting hours between 8 am – 1 pm then again between 4 pm and 8 pm.

Visitors are unfortunately unable to stay over the night, if you are their support person then most definitely you can stay.

You may see reception on your arrival and they can let you know where to go.
